Nairobits had a very different graduation on the 26th of June. To express the appreciation for Nairobits, Samsung helped Nairobits to organise their students a graduation bigger than before.

Samsung Electronics Limited in partnership with the International Youth Foundation IYF) are supporting ICT multimedia training in Nairobits for the youths from the non-formal settlements of Nairobi. Twenty students from the media lab and thirty students in course three graduated in a colorful graduation ceremony held on 26th June 2009.

In attendance of many officials, parents and friends, the students could not hide their joy as they celebrated their success. Parents embraced their children as tears of joy rolled down their cheeks. This event is picked up by the media and the following tuesday, Anne Ikiara (GM) was a main guest of the Citizen Breakfast show, explaining the success of Nairobits for millions of viewers.
