In front of a very committed audience of children, Dutch actress Soundos el Ahmadi (Shouf Shouf Habibi) read the story of the missing ring.

Afterwards she handed over the first copy to the deputy mayor of Amsterdam, Lodewijk Asscher, who she called ‘hulp piet’ to the great fun of both the children and their parents.

An exhibition of the "making of" can be visited:
08-09 till 02-10 2009 in the Public Library (OBA) in Amsterdam
05-09 till 01-11 2009 in Villa Zebra in Rotterdam

During the exhibitions there will be special children's workshops.

In the Central Library Amsterdam (OBA) those will be held on Wednesday 16-09 at 2 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. and on the same day at 3 p.m. at the Library in the 'Indische buurt'.

The dates for the workshops at Villa Zebra are still to be confirmed.
