The 22nd of October, a rainy grey day in the Netherlands. However, not inside Villa Zebra, a children`s museum located in the centre of Rotterdam.

Large groups of kids were walking around and creating a lively atmosphere. In this nice setting we had a special event day organised around the exhibition of our new children's book ‘I live here!- Morocco’

Children listened to the story of Sara and Omar, while reading along and commenting on it.
Afterwards there were two workshops where we worked on the creation of Moroccan lanterns.
In deep concentration the children made tiny holes in aluminium foil, occasionally checking against the light if the result was what they wanted. But the real magic would come later, at home when it gets dark and they could light a little candle inside.
