Meet yoyo, miffys new friend from Venezuela! The result of the first case study in the development of the play and learn with miffy-methodolody.
miffys first new global friend, yoyo, was born on July the 10th, 2010.
The creative team in Caracas were Reynaldo, Menena, Cristina, Yonel, Elvia, Reyva. They were guided by Butterflies' Eric and Fenja, together they took on the challenge to develop the first character and storyline based on the "Dick Bruna rules". They produced an incredible amount of illustrations, small scenes and even a complete storyline.
It has been very exciting to find out that the initial analysis behind 'play and learn with miffy' did indeed make sense. The inititial analysis being that the design legacy of Dick Bruna is a great starting point for creating new local characters that support the development of the young child (0-3 years). We will take the coming 2 months to analyse the outcomes and define the content of the first book.
