BUILDING BRIDGES WINNERS

On World Peace Day, the 21st of September, the 3 winners and 7 runners up of Building Bridges were awarded in a ceremony at the iHub in Nairobi.
The winners are Jane Mweru from Eldoret, Amani Kibera from Nairobi
and the Rafiki Club working in Kakamega, Mumias, Msabweni, Mitaboni and
Nairobi.
These initiatives are great examples of peace work. They span for
example: reaching out to communities in some of the hardest hit areas of
ethnic tension, motivating young people to take their own action and a
combination of literacy education with peace actions.
