We spread our wings! Two new Bits-projects have been started in 2008: AddisBits and ZanziBits.

April 2008 - Lenze Pekelsma together with NairoBits and Butterfly Works kicked off AddisBits! 20 students started a webdesign programme based on the Nairobits courses in the internet cafe of the British Council in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia. After the pilot year Addisbits will be implemented in Digital Opportunities Trust Ethiopia with the aim to provide the growing web market in Ethiopia with young talent.

May 2008 - Guy Mullens together with NairoBits and Butterfly Works are proud to announce the start of classes at ZanziBits. The course will create a platform for Zanzibar youths with potential and motivation to learn film and multimedia skills which will facilitate their career development and their interaction with youths across the world.
