We are happy to announce that the Turing Foundation granted our proposal for 2009/2010 to further build on the successes of Nairobits with the aim to create even more jobs for our talented students.

The Turing Foundation was established in 2006 by Pieter Geelen, using the wealth he acquired as co-founder of TomTom NV, a company listed at the Dutch stock exchange. The name of the foundation honours Alan Turing (1912-1954) the British scientist who is regarded by many as the founder of modern computer science. Turing has always been one of the heroes of the founders of the Turing foundation.
