Zwipit is a ‘green' mobile phone recycling company which started mobile recycling online offering cash for phones.
Their objective is committed to reduce waste. One billion new mobile phones are being sold each year and only around 5% of old phones get recycled.
At Butterfly Works we think that mobile phone recycling can make a difference.
By re-using the materials we will reduce the usual destructive mining of
metals like nickel, cadmium, cobalt, coltan and others.
zonzoo has donated 30 Nokia phones that will be used for our serious mobile game GETH2O in Uganda.
